Kindy Kollege is a family owned business located at Gorokan on the Central Coast of NSW. The centre was purpose built in August 2008. This is a 25 place long day care centre. Catering for children aged 2 to 6 years. Opening hours 630am - 6pm.
Introduction
Kindy Kollege Child Care Centre is owned by Tony, Lisa, Daniel and Christine Capolino. The centre opened on the 18th August 2008. Kindy Kollege was started as it has always been a dream of mine to own a Child care Centre. My link to children started in 1990 when I graduated from University as a Kindergarten to Primary trained teacher. Since graduating I have been a classroom teacher for grades from Kindergarten to Year 6. I have also worked at the charity Learning Links as a teacher working with children who have learning problems, an academic assessor where I wrote reports after testing children, as a consultant to schools for children with Learning difficulties, Behavioural Issues or Disabilities and also as the Branch Manager. I am a Reading Recovery trained Teacher, ESL trained and at present I am completing a Bachelor of Early Childhood. In my time as a teacher I noticed that so many children started school without the exposure to the rich learning experiences. Due to this concern I wanted to start a Child care Centre.
In approximately 2005 we purchased the land were the centre now sits. Over the next 3 years we worked tirelessly at designing the centre making sure all our plans met the new rigorous Council and Docs requirements. You may have seen us working on the centre as from November 2007 till opening day we spent most weekends at the centre working and overlooking the progress. We hope that you find the centres purpose built facilities second to none.

Kindy Kollege Child Care Centre:
• caters for children from 2-6 year old and is open from 6.30am to 6.00pm
• provides a school readiness programme for children from 3-6 years old.
• Provides programs that are child centred to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• is licensed for 25 children per day.
• Provides breakfast (for children who arrive before 7.30am), morning tea, hot lunch and afternoon tea. All our meals are cooked by a qualified chef who ensures the meals are nutritious and form part of a balanced diet. Meals can be varied for students with allergies or cultural needs.
Hours of operation
Kindy Kollege operates between the hours of 6.30am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
We are open for 51 weeks of the year.
Due to our insurance policy we cannot open our doors before 6.30am and we cannot have children on the premises after 6.00pm.
